Crimson installed, everything seemed smooth. Battlefront would hit random spots where my FPS would drop from around 90 to around 15 then jump up again as well as random little grey squares that would pop up in my menus. Best way to do it. Is there somthing I need to do? Not much about best settings – yes, use VSR as your card can handle it.

I just installed Crimson on a Windows 10 machine. Like some maps were missing textures, font was missing, what not. No referral links, including Amazon! Solution was to forcibly abort and reboot. hfmi
One of these 3 things may be the key: Too old to deal with crap like this. Disabling Bitdefender didn’t help.
Now, Crimson comes out, and I download my version today, manage to install it, didn’t delete any previous drivers. Same here uninstalled Bitdefender. This means no brigade incitements, personal attacks, or “mentioning” a user in order to annoy or harass them, etc.

To be able to install this chipset driver set, you need to first let the installer extract the drivers to c: I will just wait before i attempt this again.

Then I ran the Crimson installer again.
Submit a textpost discussion. I do however use a host file blocking known malware and advertisement urls and as soon as I disabled that, it worked instantly.
Remember that just because Windows says a program isn’t responding, that may not be the case, it could very well be doing its thing in the background. No legit company would suggest that, because of the obvious shady-ness in doing so.

I’ve disconnected myself entirely from the internet all the way through the installation process to prevent any intervention on by Windows. Go to Origin to check Star Wars files, check for updates, everything is fine.
